Teresa Lohr is a Registered Occupational Therapist in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario, and a member of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists. She has a Master of Science in Professional Health Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. Ms. Lohr has 15 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, including five years with in-patient neurology rehabilitation (both on Acquired Brain Injury and Spinal Cord Injury programs) and many years working in the community. She is experienced in neurorehabilitation (Motor Relearning approach), cognitive assessment/intervention, and functional assessment/intervention in the home and community, including return to work issues. Ms. Lohr is currently practicing as an Occupational Therapist with Complex Injury Rehab Inc. and provides services to clients in Hamilton-Niagara, and Haldimand and Brant counties. Her current practice includes occupational therapy in home assessment (including assessment of attendant care needs, home safety assessments, and comprehensive physical, cognitive and psychosocial assessments), discharge planning assessments and occupational therapy treatment for clients with a brain injury, spinal cord injury, other neurological condition, chronic pain and orthopedic injuries. She also has experience in seating and mobility devices, including prescription of power wheelchairs and scooters.
