Registered Nurse Case Manager and Rehabilitation Consultant

Lisa is an experienced Registered Nurse, Nurse Rehabilitation Consultant, and Case Manager with more than 30 years of nursing experience. She specializes in catastrophic and complex personal injury, including acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, complex orthopaedic trauma, neurological injury, chronic pain, and medically complicated rehabilitation.

Lisa provides thorough, client-centred case management for individuals whose injuries affect their mobility, cognition, emotional functioning, personal care, independence, family life, education, employment, and community participation. Her role includes assessing immediate and future care needs, coordinating medical and rehabilitation services, supporting hospital discharge and community reintegration, monitoring treatment progress, identifying risks and service gaps, and maintaining clear communication with clients, families, treatment providers, legal representatives, and insurers.

As the owner of Knorr & Associates Inc., Lisa works with a multidisciplinary team of experienced rehabilitation professionals, including occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, social workers, rehabilitation support workers, kinesiologists, and therapy assistants. Services are individually tailored to each client’s injuries, functional limitations, goals, environment, and available funding.
