Mr. Louis Zavodni is an Occupational Therapist, Case Manager and Certified Life Care Planner. He is the Clinical Director of Total Healthcare Solutions. He has clinical experience in the assessment and treatment of individuals with physical, neurological, psychological and cognitive impairments. He has taken post-graduate courses in ergonomics, return to work, functional and physical therapy, NDT/Bobath, chronic pain management and neuro-rehabilitation. He is trained in the performance of Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) through the ARCON and Matheson protocols. He is a certified ARCON Evaluator (ARCON/VerNova) and has performed FCEs and various other types of assessments. He has attended conferences and seminars on Acquired and Traumatic Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injuries, Orthopaedic injuries, Chronic pain and the Assessment of Attendant Care Needs. He is certified in the 3rd Edition of the Progressive Goal Attainment Program (PGAP) for pain management and the Árnadóttir OT-ADL Neurobehavioral Evaluation (A-ONE). He has received further training and certification in other assessment and treatment tools. He has received training in the Evaluation of Impairment and Disability according to the American Medical Association 4th, 5th, and 6th Edition Guidelines. He is certified in the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment according to the AMA Guides 4th and 5th Editions. He regularly attends courses, seminars and conferences to update his skills and expertise in assessment, rehabilitation and therapeutic intervention. He has presented and published material in the fields of occupational therapy, case management and rehabilitation.
