Laura brings with her extensive clinical experience in the areas of orthopaedic, neurological, and soft tissue injuries. She has been with DMARehability since 2000. Her current position is that of a senior therapist, providing direct supervision and mentoring while maintaining a caseload that involves providing treatment and assessment from acute onset of trauma throughout life of the injury, often assisting with community reintegration/ discharge planning for both catastrophic and non-catastrophic files. Since 2001 she has been a key method assessment specialist (FAE). Laura has special interest in universal design/ home modifications, and is regularly requested to prepare opinion reports regarding the impact of injury on life roles, abilities and overall function; commenting on assistance and accommodations required to live a fulfilled, meaningful and purposeful life after injury.
