Profile:
In 1995 I graduated as a chiropractor from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Over the first eight years of my career I worked in a sports clinic and in a medical office where I was the co-director of a carpal tunnel syndrome clinic. I gave ergonomic seminars for companies such as Honda Canada and developed a work safe program. It was then, as my wife and I were beginning to build a family, that I began to realize how much more I could offer my patients, I began to appreciate the possibilities a healthy nervous system create. We are all designed to succeed and be healthy, unfortunately, so many of us sabotage ourselves into being sick that it’s easy to forget the genius we all are on the inside. With this in mind, in 2003, we opened A Natural Path to Health to create change, not only in people’s lives but in our society as a whole. I believe strongly that lifestyle choice is at the core of your quality of health and well being and that changes can be made, if you know why and how to do it. People ask me ‘why chiropractic?’ and the answer is, chiropractic is incredibly simple, It’s about reducing nervous system interference so that you can work right from the inside out and lead a great life as a result. When you tie that in with teaching people to move right, eat right and think right, I don’t believe you can do more for another human being. Some issues I’ve grappled with since graduating as a health practitioner are: how can I know when someone needs chiropractic care, how much care they need, when they are improving, when they are not, are there techniques that can help me adjust people at every stage of life in any condition and most importantly, how can I help people learn to move, eat and think differently. These questions drew me to seek out such technologies as the Insight Millennium, Torque Release Technique and Koren Specific Technique, with postgraduate study in cities including Chicago, Detroit, Hartford, Colorado, Philadelphia and Toronto. I’m proud of what I do and I love our clinic. It’s simple, we want to see families becoming healthier and happier and this is a great place to make that happen. Aaron Weitz, D.C. CCWP
