I am a graduate of The University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and am a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario. I received accreditation and am registered as a Rehabilitation Professional with the Canadian Association of Rehabilitation Professionals. I have extensive experience in the field of rehabilitation, having worked as a case manager for more than 26 years. I have post-graduate training in life care planning and acquired brain injury rehabilitation. I have primarily conducted assessments and coordinated care for clients with traumatic injuries (orthopedic, spinal cord, acquired brain injury, amputation, etc.), to facilitate optimal recovery and compiled extensive and numerous assessment reports with respect to current rehabilitation and future care requirements. I maintain active membership in various brain injury associations and Spinal Cord Injury Ontario and continue to obtain updates on the latest changes in the field of rehabilitation research. Client-centered care and advocacy is my primary focus.
