Dr. Tsoi has over 25 years of experience working as a psychologist with a wide age group. She maintains a scientist-practitioner model in her approach and her therapeutic orientation can broadly be described as cognitive-behavioural. She adopts a developemntal perspetive in working with her clients. She is interested in cross-cultural issues and working with clients of different ethnic backgrounds. Dr. Tsoi received her clinical training at the Institute of Psychiatry (Maudsley and Bethlem Royal Hospital), University of London, United Kingdom. She was formerly staff psychologist and lecturer at the University of London, and the Director of the Clinical Psychology Program at the University of Hng Kong. She is a Registered Psychologist in Ontario and listed in the Canadian Register of Health Services Providers in Psychology. Dr. Tsoi maintains membership with the Ontario Psycholgoical Association. She is a Fellow of the British Psychological Society and the Hong Kong Psychological Society. Dr. Tsoi is familiar with the multi-disciplinary approach and believes in liaison with family physicians, medical specialists, rehabilitation and legal profession in the interest of helping the clients.
