Davina Tiwari is the owner of Meaningful Independence, an online therapy practice via phone and video for individuals and couples across Ontario and Alberta.

Meaningful Independence supports adults dealing with physical disabilities and chronic illness as well as anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, relationship issues, caregiver stress, grief/loss, and major life transitions.

Davina is a Registered Social Worker in Ontario and Alberta and a Certified Solution Focused Therapist (CSFT) with the Canadian Council of Professional Certification (CCPC) Global. She graduated from the University of Toronto with a Masters of Social Work and has an Honours Bachelors degree in Psychology from McMaster University.

Davina has extensive Social Work experience working in pediatric and adult healthcare rehabilitation, including outpatient and inpatient roles. Davina specializes in spinal cord injury given her nearly 10 years of work experience at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute- Lyndhurst Centre prior to her transition to full time private practice in 2021.

It is truly an honour supporting adults post-injury as they work towards rebuilding their quality of life in their home and community.
