Dr. Scherer is Clinical Director of the Read Clinic, a multidisciplinary rehabilitation psychological and vocational rehabilitation facility providing assessment, case management and treatment services across Ontario. Dr. Scherer has 36 years specialty experience. His appointments have included: adjunct professor in applied psychology University of Toronto, Consultant to the CNIB, Canadian Hearing Society, WSIB, Goodwill Services Rehabilitation Division, DAC Assessor, Diagnostician/Trainer to federal and provincial government employment and rehabilitation service branches, Rehabilitation Psychologist to major Insurers and personal injury law firms across Canada and the U.S. Current clinical services: rehabilitation, vocational and psychological assessment, casemanagement planning, and treatment of disabled persons; training of disability specialists, Special interest in pain disorders, traumatic physical/psychological disability and relationship to trainability/employability
