I am a duly qualified Occupational Therapist in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO) and a member of the Canadian Occupational Therapy Association. I graduated from the University of Toronto in 1976 and have practiced as an occupational therapist since. I have extensive experience treating a wide range of disabilities with a special interest in neurological injuries in the paediatric and adult populations. I have worked both in hospital and community settings assessing the daily living activities of disabled individuals for the purpose of determining care needs and making recommendations to further optimize their abilities. I have worked in the auto sector since 1993 both as a treating clinician providing assessment and treatment in community settings primarily with the catastrophically injured; completing medical-legal assessments including Future Care Cost Reports as well as providing case management services. I received a Certificate in Life Care Planning for Advanced Catastrophic Case Management from The University of Florida, Department of Rehabilitation Counselling and The Rehabilitation Training Institute in 1998.
