Profile:
Kellie is a duly qualified Occupational Therapist and member in good standing of the provincial regulatory body. Kellie is licensed to practice in Ontario by The College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (registration number G0205141) and is a member of the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists. Kellie graduated with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Toronto and has an undergraduate Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology with Psychology from the University of Western Ontario. Kellie has experience working with individuals who have suffered traumatic injuries including brain injury, spinal cord injury, complex orthopaedic and musculoskeletal injuries and mental health issues. Kellie has completed a Certificate from the American Academy for the Certification of Brain Injury Specialists (ACBIS) and has completed the Certified Brain Injury Specialist course. Kellie is a Progressive Goal Attainment Program (PGAP™) Provider. Kellie recently completed the training requirements for the Assessment of Motor and Process Skills (AMPS) course. Kellie is experienced in providing physical, cognitive and behavioural assessments and rehabilitation as well as life skills training, attendant care needs assessments, return to work and vocational programming, environmental home assessments, coma stimulation programming and relaxation/energy conservation techniques.
