Rebecca Pitcher is a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist, registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO). She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Ottawa, majoring in Linguistics with a concentration in Psychology. Rebecca then obtained certification as a Communicative Disorders Assistant and was employed by a hospital in Hamilton, Ontario. She has since graduated as a Speech-Language Pathologist from the State University of New York at Fredonia. Rebecca has a particular interest in working with a wide variety of individuals specifically those needing alternative means of communication as well as individuals who have sustained an acquired brain injury (ABI). She is also a registered Authorizer for communication aids with the Assistive Devices Program, which is a branch of the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.
