I am an Occupational Therapist and owner of Skill Builders Physiotherapy & Rehab Centre. Myself and my staff work with clients who have sustained traumatic brain injuries and specialize our practice for this type of injury. Our clients have injuries that range from very mild concussions (sometimes undiagnosed) to severely and catastrophic functional deficits. We are experts in stating how our clients are functionally limited in their cognitive abilities and how this affects their day to day life. We are very well versed in all versions of the auto insurance legislation. We provide both assessment and treatment of clients who have sustained serious injuries such as TBI, spinal cord injury and amputations and other complex issues. Three of our staff members concentrate their efforts on the specialized field of driver rehabilitation. We are well recognized for our excellence throughout Ontario and afar and assist with establishing best practices in the field. I am often a local, national and international speaker on the topics of driving and brain injury. Our Centre also offers a full range of Physiotherapy services including treatment to those with traumatic brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injuries, amputations, and serious orthopaedic injuries and also less serious injuries such as sport injuries, neck and back pain and post fracture rehab. Three of our physiotherapists are certified manual therapists and one of our physiotherapist is a Certified Vestibular Rehab Specialist. The testing that he is able to do shows objective and video evidence of a person's dizziness complaints.
