I am an Occupational Therapist in the province of Ontario in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists, and a member of the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists. I am currently servicing both adult and paediatric populations by providing a range of assessments (including Attendant Care, Comprehensive In-Home Assessments), cognitive rehabilitation, equipment implementation and other various interventions, pursuant to both non-catastrophic and catastrophic physical, neurological and psychosocial MVA-related functional challenges.
I am also providing Case Management Services and Rehabilitative Consulting to both non-catastrophic and catastrophic clients: initiating and maintaining a collaborative process to assess, plan, coordinate and monitor rehabilitative options and services to meet a client’s needs post-discharge or throughout any stage of their recovery.
I have obtained my Level 1 and Level II certification at Brock University in Neurorehabilitation (Assisting Recovery and Function in Everyday Life Following Brain Injury) and Neurobehavioural Disorders (Their Origin, Nature and Rehabilitation- OBIA). I have supervised and educated both first and second year Occupational Therapy students. I have also provided expert testimony in Arbitration hearings.
