I am a registered Psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, with areas of practice in Clinical Neuropsychology, Rehabilitation Psychology, and Clinical Psychology. I received both my Master’s degree and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Lakehead University in Thunder Bay ON, which, in addition to 5 years in coursework and research requirements, included over 5000hrs of intensive internship and residency training in acute care and rehabilitative management the assessment, diagnosis and treatment management of a wide range of neurological disorders and diseases. I have trained and worked in a variety of clinical settings, including the Lakehead Psychiatric Centre in Thunder Bay, the Neurorehabilitation and Acquired Brain Injury Units at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Thunder Bay, the Neurosciences Program at Trillium Health Centre in Mississauga, and the Anxiety Disorders Program at the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre in Ottawa. My consolidation training took place under the supervision of Board Certified psychologists, with diplomats in Neuropsychology (ABPP CN). I have been in private practice since 2004 working with individuals involved traumatic events that have resulted in brain injury and physical and psychological trauma. Within this context I have provided expert witness testimony, along with assessment, diagnosis and treatment of clients. I have worked extensively within the SABs framework as well as with the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board. I have been an Associate Clinical Professor with the University of Ottawa and am actively involved in training, research (with granted funding), and publication. I am currently on the Executive Committee for the Neuropsychology Section of the Canadian Psychological Association.
