Tammy Morrell, B.A.P.E (Kin), graduated in 1994 from the University of Western Ontario and obtained her Bachelor of Arts Physical Education, Faculty of Kinesiology. Tammy enjoys assisting with physiotherapy treatments, providing prescription orthotic assessments, as well as assisting in community rehabilitation, such as hydrotherapy and at public exercise facilities. Programs established in the pool are specific to the client’s needs to improve strength, flexibility and conditioning requirements. Tammy has been trained to establish and progress programming under the supervision of the Physiotherapist. Tammy has participated in continuing education programs including WaterART, MET, Neurotherapy, Electrotherapy Modalities. Tammy joined New Horizons Rehabilitation Service Inc. in 1996. She has experience as a Rehabilitation Therapist, following exercise programs established by the Physiotherapist for individuals recovering from Brain Injury, Orthopaedic Injuries and Spinal Cord injuries. She has followed programming established by Occupational Therapy and Speech-Language Pathology for individuals with mild to severe Traumatic Brain Injury.
