Profile:

I am a certified teacher who is in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers. I have worked with students with acquired brain injury or learning disabilities for over twenty years. I am a partner in education who collaborates with administrators and teachers to ensure meaningful supports and strategies are in place. These strategies build self-awareness and self-advocacy skills to prepare for transitions – especially the significant transitions from elementary to secondary to post-secondary school. I provide academic support by creating partnerships that inform my sessions and I work closely with students, parents, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, social workers, and fellow teachers. I now use a virtual learning model.
