Dr. Kenneth Lau received a distinction honors degree in pharmacology at University of Toronto. During this time, he developed interests in functional and clinical anatomy. He graduated from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College with magna cum laude honors. Dr. Lau uses a variety of therapeutic techniques in his chiropractic treatment. These include spinal and extremity manipulation, soft tissue techniques such as muscle release therapy, trigger point therapy and post-isometric relaxation, and electrotherapies such has interferential current, low intensity laser therapy and ultrasound. Dr. Lau is also certified by the Acupuncture Council of Ontario in providing acupuncture and electro-acupuncture treatments. Rehabilitation exercises are also an important aspect in Dr. Lau's treatment plan as this will facilitate the patient's recovery and prevent future re-injury. Dr. Lau has performed numerous health prevention outreaches for various sports clubs in the Greater Toronto Area. He is also preparing to go to Bolivia as a medical volunteer to educate the locals on health prevention and safety. In his free time, Dr. Lau enjoys traveling and photography. He is also an avid fan of baseball and table tennis.
