Experience as a primary care practitioner providing 100% patient care in an outpatient orthopaedic clinic for various patient populations including post-operative, MVA, WSIB, ODSP, and any other injuries presented. Experience designing and administering treatments incorporating manual therapy, passive modalities, and therapeutic exercise. Experience planning physiotherapy interventions encompassing education, functional activities, balance exercises, posture control, dexterity activities, and positioning and stretching to maintain function. Experience treating in-patients, within ICU setting, with post-operative abdominal related surgeries and/or cardiac surgeries and/or patients who had been brought into emergency and/or admitted due to cardiopulmonary conditions or falls. Experienced and knowledgeable about providing Physiotherapy assessment and treatment of acute sports injuries, including pre-game strapping and dressing of players’ joints, limbs and wounds.
