I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto in 1998. I gained my clinical experience while working a number of years in both the hospital setting and private practice. I ama member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, as well as their oncology division. Since completing my university education, I have pursued post-graduate courses in manual therapy, gait training and orthotic casting, and McKenzie concepts. I am currently involved in oncologic rehabilitation courses. I have extensive experience working with clients following orthopaedic surgery, repetitive strain injuries, sports injuries, injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident, as well as clients suffering from acute and chronic neck and back pain. I also have a keen interest in providing oncologic rehabilitation which includes restoring function, reducing pain and disability, increasing endurance and mobility, and ultimately improving the quality of life. Outside of work, I have a passion for music and singing. I spend most of my time with myher two young children, but when time permits, I love to travel and stay active. Whatever the goal, I strive to help people participate in happy, active lifestyles.
