Lynne Kozina directs a private practice that provides a number of services including occupational therapy assessments and treatment for individuals with neurological disorders, case management, ergonomic design, and home modification consultation. She performs assessments for attendant care, housekeeping/homemaking, caregiving, in-home functional analysis, work site evaluation, catastrophic determination and future care needs and cost analysis for a variety of client groups including brain injury, spinal cord, orthopaedic and soft tissue injuries in adolescent, adult and geriatric populations. She is an active member of the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapist, Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists, World Federation of Occupational Therapists and other organizations including the Brain Injury Association of Ontario and the Toronto Acquired Brain Injury Network. Along with her clinical work, Ms. Kozina has given a number of presentations and lectures at various conferences, events and organizations on the topics of neurological impairments, community based rehabilitation, barrier free design, home modifications, and occupational therapy practice. She has lectured at University of Toronto, Department of Occupational Therapy and provided clinical and academic instruction to graduate and undergraduate occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants. She is in the process of completing her Canadian Life Care Planning Certification.
