Trauma can affect every part of life – how you see yourself, how you relate to others, how safe you feel in the world, and how you cope with stress. Whether your experiences stem from complex trauma, childhood trauma, religious trauma, emotional neglect, abuse, relationship trauma, or other overwhelming life events, therapy can help you better understand their impact and begin moving toward lasting change.
I work with adults, men, adolescents (13+), and couples navigating the effects of trauma and attachment wounds. Many of the people I work with struggle with anxiety, shame, chronic self-criticism, emotional numbness, anger, perfectionism, people-pleasing, grief, relationship difficulties, intimacy concerns, identity questions, or a persistent feeling of being stuck. Others find themselves repeating painful relationship patterns, feeling disconnected from themselves, or carrying the lasting effects of growing up in environments where their emotional needs were not consistently met.
My approach is relational, collaborative, and trauma-informed. Together, we explore not only the challenges you are facing today, but also the experiences that shaped them. I integrate psychodynamic therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT), and somatic approaches, adapting therapy to your unique history, strengths, and goals.
I have a particular interest in working with complex trauma, childhood trauma, religious trauma, men’s issues, identity development, and relationship concerns. I also support individuals recovering from high-control environments, navigating major life transitions, and working toward healthier, more fulfilling relationships with themselves and others.
Above all, I strive to create a space where you feel genuinely understood, accepted, and safe enough to explore the parts of your story that have been difficult to carry alone. Healing is not about erasing the past, it is about developing a new relationship with it so it no longer defines your present.
