Ms. James is a Speech-Language Pathologist, registered with the College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists of Ontario (CASLPO). She has a Master’s of Health Science in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from the University of Toronto and a four-year degree in Psychology from the University of Guelph. As a practicing Speech-Language Pathologist and founder of Well Said: Toronto Speech Therapy Clinic, her passion resides within the study and treatment of acquired brain injuries, degenerative neurological conditions, language, and speech impairments. Ms. James consults for several injury management companies in the Ontario area, as well as works in the development of technological innovations to aid in the rehabilitation of individuals with a brain injury. She has participated in nationally funded academic research on the subject of pedestrian brain injuries. Prior to her career as a Speech-Language Pathologist, Ms. James was a licensed insurance professional through FISCO to do underwriting in the province of Ontario. She is familiar with various industry procedures including accident benefits claims.
