Occupational Therapist | Clinical Services Manager
Lisa is a Registered Occupational Therapist with a background in psychology. She has over fifteen years of clinical and supervisory experience in the field of Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) rehabilitation and complex rehabilitation. She is a certified Catastrophic Assessor; is a trained BrainFx 360 Administrator; a provider of the Progressive Goal Attainment Program; is trained Vestibular / Vision therapy; and teaches Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). As a graduate of psychology she is positioned to address adjustment difficulties, depression, anxiety and other emotional factors that impact recovery.
Lisa has provided expert testimony in court and in arbitrations. She has presented at CAOT conferences, and at Neuro Rehabilitation conferences in Niagara and Hamilton.
In her spare time, Lisa sits on the Board of Directors for the Genetic Aortic Disorders Association of Canada. She founded a support program for patients and families. She is also co-founder of a popular health-related online support group.
Lisa practices in both English and French.
