I am a registered physiotherapist, qualified to practice in the province of Ontario. I graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy in 1976. I am registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, and a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. My employment history includes extensive experience in acute hospital; clinic, rehabilitation, school, and community care experiences in Quebec and Ontario. Postgraduate education includes orthopedic, pediatric, and neurological courses. I completed the E1V1, V2 (Extremity and Vertebral) manual therapy courses, and NDT/Bobath courses in the province of Quebec. I have participated in many educational courses and programs such as Rood and Brunnstrom techniques for neurological cases, head injury rehabilitation. Other acquired approaches include the following: soft tissue mobilizations and pain approaches such as Neurological Scalp, Anatomical and Classical Acupuncture, Acupressure and Meridian Therapy, Connective Tissue Massage, Therapeutic Touch Massage, Therapeutic L.A.S.E.R., several Cranio-sacral therapies, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation Technique, as well as many seminars for orthopedic and neurological conditions. I am constantly upgrading my skills and knowledge base on a yearly basis.
