Established in 1984, Inter-Action Rehabilitation Inc. is a private practice of physical, occupational and speech therapists and therapy support workers who work in homes, workplaces, schools, institutions or in one of our 3 clinics in Toronto, Mississauga and Whitby. We assess and treat neurologically impaired adults and children with problems resulting from head trauma, spinal cord injury , developmental delays, acute and chronic disease, cerebral palsy, autism, and stroke as well as people with soft tissue injuries, fractures, and multiple trauma. Services include sensory-motor therapy, sensory integration, perceptual/cognitive remediation, including computer based therapy, life skills training, community, work, school reintegration, manual therapy (orthopedic and osteopathic), pain management and treatment, vestibular assessment and treatment, environmental modification, equipment prescription, establishing fitness programs and vocational reintegration. We provide a Constraint Induced Movement Therapy Training program and are one of the first practices to have Bioness Ness 200 electrical stimulation for the upper extremity. We have therapists with expertise in future cost of care assessments and attendant care assessments/form 1’s.
