Profile:

As a member of the Order of Psychologists of Ontario and the Order of Psychologists of Quebec, I utilize an integrative model to Psychotherapy which incorporates elements from Psychoanalytic theories, Psychodynamic and humanistic approaches and Cognitive-Behavioural techniques. Thus, I pay great attention to the psychic dynamics of my patients, their unconscious processes and their personality, in order to promote their personal, professional and social development.

Upon completing my studies in France, I obtained a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology and Psychopathology from the University of Paris X, as well as a License in Psychology from the University of Lyon II. Upon choosing to specialize in the area of trauma interventions, I also obtained a Degree in Psychotraumatology from the University of Paris V. My skills and training have enabled me to expand the patient population with whom I work to include children, adolescents, adults and couples, in order to address a variety of mental health concerns these populations may be experiencing (e.g. anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress). I’ve also had the opportunity and privilege of exercising the role of Clinical Director of Mental Health Services for a medical rehabilitation clinic, and I am proud today to take advantage of my experience as founder and director of Madeleine – Psychology & Psychotherapy.

Driven by a desire to continuously grow in my profession, I’ve trained in crisis and suicide intervention, traumatic bereavement, palliative care accompaniment, Motivational Interviewing, and Image Rehearsal Therapy. Always seeking to diversify in the field of Psychology, I am committed to developing my skills for active listening and intercultural adaptation in order to provide the best care to my patients.

As a University Professor, as well as a Clinical Supervisor, and lastly as an active participant of the French Sanitary Reserve, I continuously diversify my areas of intervention and get involved in projects for which I am passionate about.
