I am the founder and CEO of the Attachment and Trauma Treatment Centre for Healing (www.attch.org). I am also a Certified Trauma Specialist, Trainer, & Consultant Supervisor for TLC (The National Institute for Trauma and Loss in Children). My 15 years of experience working with all ages 2 – mid 60's in a wide variety of fields (domestic violence, addictions, mental health, eating disorders, developmental sectors, child welfare, education etc.) has provided me an exceptional breadth of knowledge to share. ATTCH provides quality evidence-based trauma assessment, treatment, training and consultation to help heal life's hurts. We provide individual and group therapy for all ages, clinical supervision, EAP services, attachment enhancing parent support, and professional development workshops. Treatment approaches are based on current research by leading experts in trauma and attachment, neuroscience, and mindfulness (Schore, Levine, Porges, Lanius, Goldstein, Neff, Mate, Teicher, Bromburg, Brach, Siegel, Perry, van der Kolk, Hughes, Ogden etc.). We make use of holistic mind body treatment, offer a yoga/meditation/body movement studio on site offering trauma sensitive treatment, art play and expressive arts therapies, and actively integrate mindful awareness, noticing of body sensations, and sensory strategies to promote integration between right brain sensory experiences (felt / emotional state) and left brain logical (narrative / organizational state).
