Durham Psychotherapy

Durham Psychotherapy provides trauma-informed therapy and counselling for individuals, couples, families, children, teens, and adults in Pickering, Durham Region, and virtually across Ontario. Our team includes registered social workers and registered psychotherapists who support clients navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship stress, emotional overwhelm, grief, identity concerns, and major life transitions.

Our therapists work collaboratively with clients to build safety, strengthen coping skills, process painful experiences, and create meaningful change at a pace that feels manageable.

Our team offers a range of therapeutic approaches, including EMDR, CBT, DBT, ACT, attachment-based therapy, somatic-informed therapy, trauma-informed care, Gottman-informed couples therapy, play therapy, and culturally responsive counselling. Treatment is tailored to the client’s needs, goals, identity, and lived experience.
