Dr. Laura Cookson is a Behavioural and Rehabilitative Optometrist who specializes in Vision Therapy. Visual therapy is a step-by-step developmental program designed to provide patients with the necessary meaningful experiences to acquire full use of their visual process. We treat people with Acquired Brain Injury, Concussion and Post-Concussion syndromes. Dr. Cookson completed her Bachelor of Science in Nutritional and Nutraceutical Sciences, with honours, at the University of Guelph. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree, with honours, from the University of Waterloo, School of Optometry in 2011.
