Petra began her career in Romania in the field of competitive sports and physical education. For 10 years she trained and competed as an athlete specializing in the discus and shot put throw, winning many national titles and being part of the Romanian ’84 Los Angeles Olympic team. After graduating from the Bucharest University for Physical Education and receiving qualifications as a teacher and track and field coach, Petra taught physical education at various institutions in Romania and trained athletes for domestic and international competitions.

Today she is a registered massage therapist (RMT) with over 12 years of experience in the orthotherapy and massage therapy field. Petra practices numerous techniques including Swedish, neuromuscular, trigger points, myofacial release, counterstrain, cranio-sacral therapy, and many others. She also holds a certification as a Kinesiotherapist and Orthotherapist under the Academy of Naturotherapy and Naturopaths (ANN). In addition, Petra is a certified Acupuncturist qualified in Western, Auricular, Electrotherapy and Phototherapy acupuncture.
