I am a registered nurse who spent 6 years working within an Intensive Care setting caring for spinal and brain injured patients. I then spent 9 years working as a SABS representative for The Co-operators Insurance Company handling injury claims. I then proceeded to join the plaintiff department of Weaver, Simmons working strictly as a law clerk for the managing partner for another 5 years. This experience allows me to fully understand ALL levels of the process following injury. I founded Source Rehab in 1995 as I was driven and determined to ensure injured parties and their families received immediate assistance avoiding undo hardship. I wanted to ensure client's received ALL of the benefits they were entitled to as early as reasonably possible. With my broad based experience within the industry, I have trained a team of 11 consultants who understand all levels of the process following an accident with expertise in case management, occupational therapy and social work. My team have heart combined with extensive knowledge and experience. We never take "no" as an option and push forward creatively to obtain the needs of our clients. We are usually successful as we know what the insurers need to provide approval. I do not believe anyone experiencing such a tragic event should be alone in this complicated process when there are significant benefits available to them. THEY ARE ENTITLED!!!!!!
