About Dr. Arpita Biswas

Dr. Arpita Biswas is a registered psychologist, in private practice in Toronto, Ontario. She has completed her Master’s, M. Phil, and Ph.D. degrees in psychology and has over thirty years of extensive clinical experience working in varied settings, including community, hospitals, academic settings, and private practice. After working in India as a clinical psychologist for eleven years, she has been providing varied psychological services in Canada over the last twenty years.

Currently, she is the Clinical Director of Scarborough Psychology Clinic, a reputed organization of psychologists, psychotherapists and Social Workers in Toronto; where along with her clinical work, she is involved in clinical training and supervision of other therapists and students completing internships for master’s and Ph.D. degree and also for psychologists in supervised practice.

About Scarborough Psychology Clinic

Scarborough Psychology Clinic comprises a group of highly qualified and experienced psychologists, psychotherapists, and mental health professionals. We provide culturally sensitive psychological therapies based on evidence-based theories and research and also provide assessment and treatment services to Motor Vehicle Accident claimants and WSIB claimants.

We are available both for in-person as well as virtual sessions. Our goal is to assist people in overcoming emotional challenges and helping them live their lives to the fullest potential and satisfaction.

Our clinic is conveniently located on the second floor of the medical building at the corner of Ellesmere Road and Bellamy Road North in Scarborough. Our location is close to McCowan subway station and Scarborough Town Centre. Parking is available for free in the front and back of the building. The office is also wheelchair accessible.

Our services are available in multiple languages, including English, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Gujarati, Mandarin and Urdu.
