Cory Birk, Hons. BSc, MScPT, CAT (C). Cory is a Registered Physiotherapist who also has his designation as a Certified Athletic Therapist. He graduated from York University in 2005 with his Honours Bachelor of Science degree and a Certificate in Athletic Therapy. In 2007 he completed his Master of Science degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto. Cory joined New Horizons Rehabilitation Services Inc. in December 2007. He has a special interest in treating sports injuries and other orthopedic conditions. Cory has worked as a therapist for a variety of teams including the men’s hockey and women’s rugby varsity teams at York University. Currently Cory is the athletic therapist for the Listowel Cyclones Jr. B hockey team. Cory has a strong interest in manual therapy and is working towards challenging the Intermediate Exam through the Orthopedic Division of the CPA. He has also completed the Level 1, and 2A/3A acupuncture courses through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute (AFCI).
