I am an occupational therapist with over 30 years experience, predominantly in the assessment and treatment of traumatic upper extremity injuries, however I also have experience in vocational assessment, school-care pediatrics and inpatient rehabilitation of clients with CVA's, ABI's, amputations and arthritis. I provide in-home consultation, assessment, treatment and splint fabrication for upper extremity injuries but will also consult and provide custom thermoplastic splinting in physio clinics. I graduatedwith a BHSc. in OT from Tufts U./Boston School of Occupational Therapy in 1981. I am a clinical associate at McMaster University with the School of Rehabilitation Sciences, as a guest lecturer and preceptor for master's level OT students. I am a member of the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists, the American Society of Hand Therapists, MACHAND, the Canadian Society of Hand Therapy and founder/member of the Hamilton Hand Interest Group.
