My work history entails 19 + years experience within the mental health field stemming from hospitalized care in an emergency department, On scene response with victim services york region (vol.) and lastly extensive counselling/case management experience with Dual diagnosis clients, Acquired/Traumatic Brain Injury clients & At Risk Children/Youth.
I provide individual psychotherapy to youth and adults ages 16 + . I enjoy using a variety of techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Strategies, Mindfulness Meditation, Trauma Informed, Compassion Focused, & Emotion Focused.
I treat – Depression & Sadness , Anxiety & Worry, Post Partum Support, Caregiver Burn Out, Work , Home, & School Stress, Grief & Loss, Assistance for Parents of Medically Vulnerable Children, Divorce & Separation, Unexpected Life Transitions, Unexpected Change, Lost Opportunities.
