Dr. Shireen Abuhatoum completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Concordia University in Montreal. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship and her predoctoral residency at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in the Borderline Personality Disorder Clinic and the Mood and Anxiety Ambulatory Service. She also held clinical positions at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton (Mood Disorders Program, Royal Victoria Hospital (Neuropsychology Clinic), McGill University Health Centre, and private practices. Dr. Abuhatoum provides psychological services (assessment and therapy) to adults with a range of concerns including depression, anxiety, emotion dysregulation, trauma, relationship difficulties, grief, stress management, and personality disorders. She has specialized knowledge and expertise in the areas of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder.
