I am an Occupational Therapist registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (G1610368). I graduated from University of Ottawa with a Master’s of Health Sciences in Occupational Therapy and from McGill University with a B.A. in Psychology. I have completed clinical placements in a variety of settings in Ontario and Quebec, including acute care, return to work rehabilitation of individuals with minor traumatic brain injuries, as well as other areas of physical and mental dysfunction (inpatient psychiatry, paediatrics, orthopaedics). In 2016, I joined Kim Lamont & Associates providing community, school, home and work-based assessments and interventions to individuals with neurological, psychological, soft tissue and orthopaedic injuries as a result of motor vehicle accidents. I have completed advanced certification and training in neurorehabilitation and cognitive interventions for children, youth, adults and older adults with acquired and traumatic brain injury through Brock University and the Ontario Brain Injury Association (OBIA). I have also completed training in the following areas: anxiety management, motivational interviewing, and suicide prevention. I am also a Mental Health First Aid provider, certified PGAP provider and Goal Management Training provider.
