Profile:

As a clinical psychologist, I look forward to improving the quality of life of individuals, families, and couples, as well as promoting child and adolescent healthy development, learning, and well-being. I offer a range of psychological services toward enabling my clients to make positive changes in their lives, and reach their full functional, work re-integration, and/or learning potential. I provide specialized help when concerns about individual clients/families/couples’ functioning might affect their lives. I help those who present with personal injuries (e.g., motor vehicle and work related accidents), different emotional, mental and cognitive conditions (e.g., anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral and/or mental health problems, learning, attention, concentration), and relationship and communication issues. I conduct diagnostic and psychoeducational assessments to identify personal strengths and needs, including cognitive and adaptive skills, behavioral, social and emotional needs, as well as academic achievement level and learning style. These comprehensive and multi-dimensional evaluations are used to recommend appropriate treatment interventions, accommodations, and/or other specified benefits/strategies to enable my clients to improve their efficiency, performance, and overall success. I also provide psychotherapy and counselling to support my clients in addressing their concerns and experience in relation to a wide range of everyday life stressors, and relationship and/or communication challenges, In addition, I can provide valuable psychoeducation in order to facilitate making an informed decision related to one’s unique needs and issues of interest. I look forward to using my rich knowledge, experience and expertise to develop ways of understanding and dealing better with individual situations, contributing to emotional and personality development, and/or enhancing the learning process. Those clients from the former Yugoslavian region might receive services in their language of origin (e.g., Croatian, Serbian, Bosnian, Macedonian).
