I am registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario (Certificate #: 4125) for autonomous practice in the areas of Clinical Neuropsychology, Clinical Psychology, and Rehabilitation Psychology. I completed a Bachelor of Arts degree (Advanced) at the University of Manitoba, and a Master of Science degree in Psychology (Specialization in Neuroscience) at Carleton University. I obtained a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Dalhousie University in 2004. The program was accredited by both the Canadian Psychological Association and the American Psychological Association. I have completed pre-doctoral training in clinical neuropsychology and clinical psychology, and post-doctoral training in clinical neuropsychology, at The Ottawa Hospital. Following my training, I was employed by The Ottawa Hospital, where I worked in the general neuropsychology service, prior to moving to the First Episode Psychosis program. I started to work in private practice on a part-time basis in 2006. In March 2011, I left my position at The Ottawa Hospital to pursue full-time private practice. I am also a consulting neuropsychologist for The Ottawa Senators of the National Hockey League. I have extensive experience conducting neuropsychological and psychological assessments with individuals with suspected or diagnosed neurological and psychiatric conditions. I receive referrals from a variety of sources, including community treatment providers (e.g. physicians, occupational therapists, and psychologists), lawyers (both plaintiff and defense), automobile insurance providers, Veterans Affairs Canada, Health Canada, and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB).
