I am currently enjoying my seventeenth year as a physiotherapist and I have spent my career in orthopedic practice. To hone my manual therapy skills, I have completed post-graduate coursework in manipulative physiotherapy under the orthopedic division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA). I became a certified administrator of Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE) in order to assist clients and third party payors to determine physical and functional capabilities relating to their activities of daily living and their work performance. I am also an independent medical examiner. I aspired to own a private clinic after graduating McMaster in 1995 and put my dreams into motion in 2004. I have been the director of Westmount Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation for eight years now and has raised the bar with respect to standards of care for physiotherapy in Hamilton. I continue to attend courses and to study methods that allows me to continue to improve my business and the delivery of physiotherapy care. My mission as clinic owner is to provide physiotherapy services that treat patients as individuals with their own needs and their own personal goals.
