I am a Registered Occupational Therapist with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO). I graduated from the London School of Occupational Therapy, United Kingdom in 1975. I have extensive experience working with individuals with complex orthopedic injuries, neurological impairments (inc. acquired and traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries) and soft tissue injuries in hospital and community settings in the UK; and subsequently, in relation to motor vehicle injuries in Canada since 1993. My professional experience has included occupational therapy consultation and treatment, discharge planning, attendant needs assessments, home accessibility and design modifications, ergonomic assessments, physical and cognitive job demands analyses, return to work planning and implementation, rehabilitation case management, medical legal assessments and future care cost analyses/life care planning and case management. I am a member of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT) and am a Certified Canadian Life Care Planner. A complete CV is available upon request.
