Connie Francoz is co-owner of the Halton Community Rehabilitaton Centre. She has been working as a physiotherapist since 1994, treating orthopaedic and neuro conditions. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology, graduating from the University of Waterloo and Bachelor of Health Science Degree in Physiotherapy, graduating from McMaster Univesity. Connie completed her Advanced Diploma in Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy in 2001, recognized by the Physiotherapy Association as the current standard in advanced training in the area of Orthopaedic assessment and treatment. Connie has taken many post Orthopaedic graduate courses relating to stabilization, pilates, neurodynamics, the McKenzie approach, soft tissue or myofascial release, acupuncture, etc.. She is certified to provide Acupuncture via the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institutue. Connie enjoys consulting for and treating complex orthopaedic patients and has a wide variety of manual therapy, joint and myofascial skills as well as a strong exercise background that integrates a variety of exericse options, sport, Pilates, and functional training. Connie has Matheson training in Functional Capacity Evaulation and completed the Water Art Rehabilition Course. While her primary area of practice has been Orthopaedic assesment and treatment, Connie has continued to treat pediatric and neuro conditions since her graduation. As well, Connie completed the Florida Life Care Planning program and is a Canadian Certified Life Care Planner. She currently provides Future Cost of Care Analysis for catastrophic and non catastrophic clients as a consultant for Carol Bierbrier and Associates. Connie is a member of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, Ontario Physiotherapy Association, Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institue, and the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals and a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy.
