Profile

For the record, I have a Ph.D. in Psychology (1974) from the University of Toronto with College of Psychologists Registration number 1095 in 1975. My early experience was with emotionally disturbed children and adult patients in psychiatric hospitals in Toronto and Thunder Bay. From 1975 to 1993 I provided psychotherapy to adolescents and their families through the Nipissing Board of Education in North Bay. During that time I conducted about 2,000 emotional and intellectual psychological assessments and I also conducted several hundred psycho-vocational assessments for community agencies and I provided private psychotherapy for several hundred adults, couples and families on a part time basis. I have continued my private practice on a full time basis since 1993, dealing with over 100 new therapy and assessment cases per year. Since starting full time private practise, I have conducted over 3,000 psychological assessments for emotional and intellectual functioning, including issues such as impact of motor vehicle and workplace accidents, military operational stress injuries, emotional and learning disabilities and posttraumatic stress.
