Dr. Jones is a Registered Psychologist in private practice in the Province of Ontario, Canada, and is a graduate of the clinical psychology program at the University of Western Ontario and also of the College of Dentistry at the University of Saskatchewan. Dr. Jones’ research during his clinical training reflected his interest in the study of both the physical and psychological aspects of coping with chronic pain. His clinical training included rotations in the pain management program at London Health Sciences Centre in London, Ontario and the Regional Rehabilitation Centre and Community Mental Health Clinic at Windsor Regional Hospital. His experiences in those rotations have provided him with training in the areas of Health Psychology and Mental Health. Dr. Jones has also trained with the EMDR Institute to provide EMDR therapy for the treatment of Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and is a member of the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation (ISSTD). Dr. Jones’ practice is in Kitchener, Ontario, just 75 minutes southwest of Toronto. He also works with Grandview Medical Centre Family Health Team, a busy mental health service serving patients of Grandview Medical Centre in Cambridge, Ontario. He enjoys providing treatment for people who are experiencing continuing problems coping with stress, relationship issues, workplace stress or injuries, motor vehicle accidents, PTSD, and a wide range of health problems. Dr. Jones has been an Adjunct Professor in the School of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario, teaching practical applications of psychology for dental students for nine years. Dr. Jones provides treatment services primarily for adults in both his private practice and with the Grandview Medical Centre Family Health Team.
