Beverlee C. Melamed & Associates inc. is a rehabilitation company, providing services in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation Coaching. Having graduated from McGill University in 1976, with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy, Beverlee has pursued a career in working extensively in community rehabilitation. The team at Beverlee C. Melamed & Associates provide comprehensive and innovative rehabilitation for individuals of all ages who are dealing with the effects of traumatic injuries, as well as with children who have learning challenges. All services are client/family centered and community based – at home, in school, at work and in community facilities. The team provide meaningful and functional rehabilitation “fitting” with client’s goals and needs, consistent with a strong self – advocacy approach. All team members are active participants in ongoing conferences and workshops, providing and receiving education in the areas of acquired brain injury and recovery from trauma, and contributing through presentations and publications. Beverlee C. Melamed & Associates offer ongoing education to our staff and to clients, through ongoing workshops, held on a monthly basis. The company has a modest scholarship program and promotes opportunities for clients to celebrate their successes through individual exhibits and projects, as is part of the philosophy in creating meaningful rehabilitation, specific to each client.
