Profile:

Growing up and nourished in a family which has been practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for the past 3 generations, I have always been pursuing my interest in seeking balance and natural in my everyday life. I still remember my grandmother used to teach me about herbs and let me touch and smell them when I was a kid.

My studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture have included 4 years of training in Canada as well as postgraduate studies in Mainland China. Over the years my expertise has been remarkable and notable accolades, including fulfilling the requirements of The College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMAO) and is qualified to practise Traditional Chinese Medicine in the province of Ontario.

Since my graduation, I have been dedicated in continue education. In November 2010, I became a Certified Acupuncture Detoxification Specialistaccredited by National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA). I was trained for their world wide known detoxification protocol which is proven effective in providing physical and emotional relief associated with unpleasant withdrawal symptoms, anxiety and cravings/urges to use substances. It’s also effective in alleviating symptoms of depression, sleep disturbances, body aches, headaches, nausea, sweating, and muscle pain.

I enjoy educating the public about TCM and acupuncture and how it applies to various medical concerns. I am an active speaker and workshop facilitator. Since 2006, I have been facilitating holistic health related programs for women in need at North York Women Centre. I am also experienced in teaching Qi-gong and meridian exercises in group settings as I have been practicing Qi-gong and Tai-Chi for the past 13 years. I also enjoy giving back to the community at my spare time. I am part of the committee at Bathurst-Finch Women Committee running programs for female new comers since 2010. I am also writing holistic health related articles and posts (see details on www.balanceandnatural.blogspot.com)
