Profile

Ashley is a Registered Social Worker with over 17 years of experience in the mental health field, dedicated to enhancing the social, emotional, physical, and mental wellbeing of her clients through a strengths-based approach. She has a robust clinical background in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and holds Trauma Level One and Two certifications from the Hincks-Dellcrest Centre.

Ashley is the Lead Therapist for Field Trip Health Canada, where she plays a central role in delivering innovative and evidence-based mental health care, including psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy.

Her extensive work across both public and private sectors has equipped her to support individuals across the lifespan—including children, adolescents, and adults—through a wide range of challenges. Ashley’s clinical specialties include crisis intervention, trauma, grief and loss, internalizing disorders, and the integration of art, mindfulness, and relaxation techniques into therapy.

Most recently, she completed certification in Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy through Numinus, a program accredited in Canada, further expanding her integrative and holistic therapeutic toolkit.

Ashley earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Algoma University and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Beyond her clinical practice, she is passionate about nature and sustainable living. As an avid equestrian and farm operator, Ashley grows organic produce, produces goat’s milk soap, maple syrup and eggs, and actively engages in northern cooperatives and mental health farming initiatives. She is a proud member of the Ontario Federation of Agriculture and an advocate for the healing power of land-based practices.
