Dr. Jasmine Bains is registered in the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario to practice in Clinical Psychology. She provides psychotherapy and psychological assessment services to adults.
She earned her Doctorate Degree in Health Psychology from Panjab University, India, and has professional experience in mental health programs in Toronto. She has over a decade of experience delivering psychotherapy and conducting psychological assessments for clients involved in Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA), WSIB claims, and private practice.
Dr. Bains is trained in evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Her clinical interests include trauma-focused care, depression, anxiety, somatic difficulties, i.e., chronic pain, supporting clients through life transitions, and addressing injury-related mental health challenges.
