Executive Director / Psychologist

After working in community-based rehab for over 10 years, I followed my heart and founded Brainworks (www.brainworksrehab.com) in 2003, where I continue to serve both clinically and as Executive Director.

Through Brainworks, we get the honour to help clients cope with serious injury, and face the challenges that come with it head on. We live and breathe the SABS (Ontario’s auto insurance legislation) so that we are in the best position to help insurers understand our clients’ needs in a way that is relevant to them, and to help lawyers most effectively advocate for our clients.

My clinical responsibilities at Brainworks include: Psychological consultation, assessment and treatment; pain management; neurobehavioural program development, rehabilitation program planning; clinically directing therapists, and rehabilitation consultation. Most of my clinical work occurs north of Toronto to north of North Bay.

As Executive Director, I have overall responsibility for the organizational direction and culture of Brainworks, personnel decisions, approval of programs and all financial and legal matters. I am the chair of the senior management group and directly supervise all managers, my personal assistants, and selected clinical staff.
